Meditation from Naran Sir for 9 April 2020

There are many times we said we want a quiet peaceful mind. Now there is a plenty of chance to be quiet and peaceful. But are we really peaceful? Honestly put the question to yourself, you are neither quiet nor peaceful. That means what about the intention that once we had when we were busy, I think we have not meant really that.

We believe mostly in quotations. We are very happy with the quotations. When we read number of quotes, we feel happy. The moment you feel happy, you will not put that into practice. That is the fate of all the quotes.

How to bring the peace atleast for 5 mins~10 mins in a gap of the whole day?

For a moment, put everything aside.

“I really want to be still for a moment and to experience the peaceful mind.”

Have that intention.

Take few breaths slowly and steadily.

Even when a thought crosses say NEXT.

Become silent. Practice this for some time.

When you are sure that you are silent or you are peaceful, or you are becoming quiet, visualize a beautiful lake in front of you. The dark blue color, beautiful moon studded with stars on the sky, visualize that scene.

The lake is having lotus in between. See the color of each petal and around the lotus some beautiful white swans are crossing that lotus.

Feel the oneness and become the part of that, become the swan; then become the lotus and see the moon.

Chant OM SHANTHI SHANTHI SHANTHIHI.
